Communicating Science in Context

These workshops are developed to help your scientific teams reserve dedicated time to prepare their presentations, and get the help they need. We help
them design presentation materials for the target audience and craft the delivery in service of work
the presentation needs to accomplish.

Who should attend:

  • Biomedical researchers

  • Clinical researchers

  • Engineers

  • Data scientists

Our workshops cover:

  • Poster design and creation

  • Slide presentations

  • Presenting to non-scientists

  • 5-Slide Pitches

Past workshop participants have said:

"The instructor was excellent, with clean and concise presentation skills. The scaffolding method was a terrific way to approach building a pitch."

"As an administrator who works directly with researchers, this training gave me new tools for helping the researchers at our center."

"It was great to have a poster assessment rubric as part of the workshop.
A great guide for designing better posters."

"The facilitator is clearly very savvy about design and visualization, and she was very clear and direct with her advice."
